Public Transportation

The public transportation service is provided by CTA (Chicago Transit Authority), which also serves several adjacent suburbs outside Chicago�s city limits, operating an extensive network of buses and rapid elevated and subway systems known as the Chicago L, with line that are designated by colors � Blue, Red, Orange, Green, Purple, Brown, Yellow and Pink. The Red and Blue lines offer a 24-hour, around the clock rail service, Chicago being the only city in the world to do so.

Car

Due to the extensive and diverse range of public transportation options, driving a car to get round in Chicago is not exactly necessary, However, if you plan to explore the city and its surroundings, by yourself, during your stay, a rental car might come in handy.

Taxi

From Midway International Airport: Start by heading north on S Laramie Avenue, toward W 55th Street. Take the 1st right onto W 55th Street, and turn left at S Cicero Avenue. Merge onto I-55 N/Stevenson Expy, via the ramp to Chicago. Take exit 292A, to merge onto I-90 W/I-94 W, toward W Ryan Expy/Wisconsin, and take exit 51H for I-290 W, toward W Elsenhower Expy/W Suburbs. Keep right at the fork, and follow the signs for Congress Pkwy/Chicago Loop. Merge onto Congress Pkwy and exit onto S Wacker Drive. Turn right at Historic U.S. 66 E/E Jackson Blvd. Destination will be on the right.
